Alec Baldwin is the latest big actor to join director Todd Phillips ’  Joker  movie at Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment. According to Deadline , Baldwin will take on the role of Thomas Wayne the father of Bruce Wayne. That's a pretty interesting and unexpected casting choice for the character! With Baldwin's older age, how old would that make Bruce Wayne in this film? Late teens early twenties? It will be interesting to see if they even decide to include him. It was previously reported that Thomas Wayne would be a "cheesy, tanned and rich-looking" 60-year-old man. I’m sure I’m not alone in waiting for the dub of the second season of The Seven Deadly Sins to be released. If you’ve been running out of patience like me, you won’t have to wait too much longer. A video showcasing some anime for Netflix Latin America was recently released and on it was the notice that The Seven Deadly Sins would be on the streaming service starting in October. When I first found out about this, I was extremely jealous since I know that different countries have different content on the service. I wanted to know why there was no word for the U.S. Thankfully, CB contacted Netflix who confirmed that October is when the U.S. can expect the second season. The final story from the Fairy Tail manga is getting ready to make its anime debut and now we’ve gotten a pretty cool trailer. The trailer shows that most of the wizards have new outfits to show off while they’re beating up bad guys to the awesome theme song. Natsu is throwing around his fire magic, Erza has some new armor it seems, Wendy seemingly has some new tricks as does Lucy. Not to mention the teamwork from Gray and Juvia that we see for a brief moment. This final season of Fairy Tail will be airing in Japan this October with no word of a simulcast yet. This is a new theory about the Hulk in Avengers 4 that has surfaced and it actually seems very plausible. In Avengers: Infinity War , we see Hulk get his butt handed to him by Thanos and then Hulk refuses to come out and play the entire rest of the movie. For many viewers, including me, it seemed that Hulk was scared of Thanos after the thrashing he received. However,  Anthony and Joe Russo have said that Hulk refuses to surface because he feels Bruce Banner is only using him as a tool for fighting. When DOOM Eternal was announced for the Nintendo Switch at this year’s QuakeCon, several fans of id Software’s Rage series were left wondering whether a game from the franchise will also be released on the Switch. Now, the studio’s director, Tim Willits , revealed that Rage 2 was also considered for the platform.  Speaking to DualShockers at this year’s GamesCom, Willits, together with Bethesda’s Pete Hines revealed that bringing Rage 2 to the Switch will be a challenging task as the game is being developed in a different game engine.  “We’ve talked about it, but it’s a completely different engine and tech," Hines said to DualShockers. Michael Shannon and director Jeff Nichols teamed up again for a short film project called Long Way Back Home . The film tells the story of a man named Stanton, who is searching for his two younger brothers in the backroads of Memphis. As you'll see, things get complicated when he finds them. The short was made as a way to promote the release of the album "Among the Ghosts" from the band Lucero , which features Jeff's brother Ben Nichols on vocals and guitar. It's always good to see Shannon and Nichols work together. They've previously collaborated together on Shotgun Stories ,  Take Shelter ,  Mud ,  Midnight Special , and Loving . This short film turned out great. The short also stars Scoot Mcnairy ,  Paul Sparks , and Ben Nichols . You can enjoy the short below and after you watch it, tell us what you think! Reviews for The Happytime Murders weren't great, but it's fair to say the box office pull for the film this weekend was even worse. Bloody Disgusting reports the film is estimated to have pulled in about $10 million domestically, which is a cool $30 million short of its $40 million budget. Unfortunately, the film needs to pull about $150 million to break even, so it's looking like STX is going to take a pretty massive loss on this film.  That's disappointing to hear. I won't deny what I've seen from the film looks weak, but I was hoping Melissa McCarthy could help that film become a hit. Those who have seen it over the weekend (there aren't many of you), do you think the bad reviews for this film are justified? A few years ago it was announced that Dwayne Johnson would star in a remake of John Carpenter 's classic 1986 film Big Trouble in Little China . Well, it turns out that this film won't be a remake. Instead, it will be a continuation of the story that was launched with the first film, which starred Kurt Russell .  The news comes from one of the producers of the film,  Hiram Garcia,  and while talking to Collider about the movie, he said: "There’s a lot of things going on with [ Big Trouble in Little China ]. When Greta Gerwig 's film adaptation of Little Women was announced,  Emma Stone was attached as one of the leads in the ensemble cast. Well, it turns out that she will no longer be able to be in the movie due to scheduling conflicts with her promotional obligations for the Fox Searchlight film The Favourite . The show must go on, though, and Variety is reporting that Emma Watson ( Harry Potter ) will replace her in the film. According to the report, roles are still being worked out and it is unknown which sister Watson would be playing. The classic 1959 horror novel  The Haunting at Hill House is getting a series adaptation from director Mike Flanagan  ( Ouija: Origin of Evil, Gerald’s Game ) for Netflix. We may have to wait until the summer of 2019 before the final season of Game of Thrones premieres on HBO, but today fans have been given a little snippet of first footage of the highly anticipated eighth season featured in a promo video building hype for several of the upcoming HBO shows, and it provides footage featuring fan-favorite characters like Jon Snow, Sansa Stark, and Jaime Lannister. Netflix has changed the way we consume entertainment and now everyone is looking at getting on board and catching up with the future. Disney is one of the biggest media companies in the world, and they are in the process of getting ready to launch their own branded streaming service.  They already have a lot of original programming that they are developing for it at the moment and they have a huge library of films and TV series that will be made available to the Disney fans. HBO has released the first teaser trailer for a new film called My Dinner with Hervé . The film stars Peter Dinklage in the role of the famous French dwarf actor Herve Villechaize , who many of you will know from the James Bond film The Man with the Golden Gun or Tattoo from the series Fantasy Island . The film centers around the unlikely friendship that "evolves over one wild night in LA between a struggling journalist ( Jamie Dornan ) and actor Hervé Villechaize (Dinklage), resulting in life-changing consequences for both." The first trailer gives a good sense of the tone and vibe of the film, but it doesn't offer much other than set up the crazy story. I'm intrigued though, and it looks like it could be a great movie! Thanks to Reddit user and Marvel fan, u/thecruiser, we have some interesting new details about the Black Panther suit that T'Challa wears in the movie. There's a touching little Easter egg in the Wakandan text on the suit that is sure to give you the warm fuzzies.  Early on in Black Panther when T'Challa is checking out the new suit that his sister made him, it powers up and a scroll of text glows across the body of the suit. Well, the Marvel fan took that text and ran it through a Wakandan translator  on the internet, and the translation came out to be... "I love you, Mom."  Aww... Isn't that sweet!? In Black Panther, when T’Challa strikes the new Panther Habit suit to test its kinetic energy storage, some glowing Wakandan text appears on the torso.
